Being off duty, Phinsus hoped to explore the station. As he walked around, he heard the sounds of merriment. Having followed those sounds, he found the cause. It was a casino, a place for gambling and enjoyment. With a curious brow raise, he wandered inside and seated himself at an empty table.

"No, no one is sitting here," said the Denobulan. He still wore his work uniform, the colors indicated that he was medical personnel aboard the station. His rank badges on his color showed he was a Lieutenant as well. "What is your name?"

"My apologies My name is Natasha Harkness-Riley I am the new diplomatic attache assigned from Earth spacedock." She introduced herself with a soft smile gracing her features. She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ears and she took a seat.

"Ah, a diplomat? I am Doctor Phinsus Demva," he said with a slight nod. He figured diplomates would be a very common sight aboard the station. "I am also new to the station myself May I call you Natasha or do you have a preferred name?"

"Just call me Natasha." she smiled as she replied attempting to hide her anxiety behind a mask (edited)

"Alright," he said, nodding and giving a smile. He proceeded to order himself a drink and then looked to her. "What made you come to the casino?"

"Boredom really I have just arrived so I thought I would look around." She answered calmly amd she fiddles with her hands as she sat next to him "What about you?"

"Boredom aswell," he said with a chuckle. It was true though. He was bored and decided to begin to explore his new home. He hoped he would find a home here. "Starbase 777 is my new post."

"Is starbase777 your first post?" She asked curiously and calmly, she was hoping that he did not mind her question as she was just trying to make conversation. (edited)

"No, I previously served on the USS Macoma for five years," he said. He thought about the ship and he would give a sigh. "It was a quiet little vessel. We explored some of the further reaches of space and were on the frontier. Being here is a huge change."

"Oh wow that's cool." she spoke with a happy smile on her face. "I served under Admiral Quinn before coming here it is my first time being away from home so I understand how much of a big change it is." She smiled softly and she empathised with him about the changes (edited)

"Oh, Admiral Quinn? I've heard of him, but never met them," he said with a curious tone. He wanted to ask her about the Admiral, but would refrain. "Station life is a stationary one. Especially here on the edge of Romulan, Klingon, and Federation space."

"I agree with you on that one." She replied with a smile and she stretched out her arms as they felt heavy

"Well, I should probably head to my quarters and get some rest," he said with a sigh. Phinsus felt tired and wanted to get some rest. "Perhaps we can chat later?"

"Sure it has been a pleasure meeting you." she replied as she looked around once more and then she got up and left
